How MulePACs work with (or without) ISO containers

The pains of shipping supplies during deployment is an age-old problem. Containerization, or the standardized shipping system developed around World War II, helped with many shipping and storage woes and was a major improvement. But often items in the containers are broken during travel, and ISO containers are occupied during storage and cannot be utilized for shipping.

MulePAC solves both of these problems. Just as Containerization has revolutionized shipping, MulePAC has revolutionized secondary containers.

MulePACs can be stacked, and fit perfectly into MILVANs, filling them to capacity. This prevents supplies from shifting during transportation, and can save money on ruined or broken supplies and equipment. They also load much quicker.

Obviously you can use ISO containers to store MulePACs, but it’s not necessary. Our containers are 100 percent weather proof, so you don’t have to tie up those valuable ISO containers for storage. Just think of how many dry freight containers you can free up knowing the contents in your MulePAC containers will not be damaged.

The traditional white storage containers do not stack well, are not weatherproof and traditionally have caused problems when used for storage in MILVANs.

MulePAC worked flawlessly,” said CW3 Shawn Mease, 2-9 CAV, 3rd BCT, 4th ID. “We were able to load the containers, stack them in the MILVANS and secure them in place. The people that used the traditional white conex inserts had problems when they tried to stack theirs.
