How can a secondary shipping container save lives?
MulePAC ultimately saves lives.
It seems like a bold statement at first. But is it? Let’s look at two scenarios.
No Secondary Containment System
A support unit is moving vital supplies to a forward position. They don’t have a secondary containment system and are loading the supplies to the best of their ability. An LMTV and trailer are only loaded to one third capacity because the supplies do not stack well and cannot be adequately secured. It takes three trucks with trailers to move all of the supplies. Some of the supplies are damaged and lost due to shifting. Each truck has a crew of three, putting nine soldiers’ lives at risk.
With MulePAC
Another support unit is moving the same quantity of supplies forward, but they have MulePAC. The critical supplies, in MulePACs, are loaded onto a single LMTV and trailer, easily secured, and the vehicle is filled to capacity. None of the supplies are damaged, and three soldiers make one trip.
It’s easy to see the benefits of MulePAC. Our secondary containers ensure that military vehicles are loaded to capacity so that fewer soldiers make fewer trips, and supplies arrive undamaged. Unlike JMICs, our secondary containers are lightweight and extremely durable so you won’t have to worry about damaging a MulePAC, should the need arise for combat offloading.
